Tortuga Web 3.0 is a long-term bias fund that invests in liquid tokens in web 3.0 protocols. Tortuga does careful analysis to make strategic plays during bear markets to maximize advantages upon entrance into bull markets. We believe in investing in projects that provide utility to the Web 3 ecosystem that are poised for exponential growth over the next few years.

The idea for Tortuga was first initiated after its founders, Chris Krimitsos and Samuel Armes, encountered multiple projects with large amounts of human capital and talent that were undervalued. Tortuga takes a front seat in the projects that it invests in, actively analyzing the team, tokenomics, and technology fundamentals.
Chris and Samuel were both grassroots adopters of Web 3, with Chris being on the forefront of Web 3 in the media space, and Samuel building the entire Web 3-based political infrastructure in the State of Florida. Chris and Samuel have a combined experience of 20 years in the Web 3 space and are experts in not only judging technology but also judging the integrity of the individuals behind the technology.
Tortuga aims to be not just a fund, but a community where investors are more actively involved in the life of Tortuga through its newsletter, media partnerships, and events. SAMUEL
ARMES
Samuel Armes has an extensive background in the blockchain and government spaces. Samuel did research for United States Special Operations Command on Bitcoin and counter threat finance. He did similar research for the United States Department of State on cryptocurrency policy and blockchain technology. Samuel is the first and only advocate for blockchain and crypto at the government level within the state of Florida. He is currently the President of the Florida Blockchain Business Association (FBBA) and has passed three bills in the Florida legislature. Samuel runs major blockchain & cryptocurrency conferences around the state of Florida.

KRIMITSOS
Chris Krimitsos has cemented his place in emerging technologies, as evidenced by his success with a global podcasting event that set back-to-back Guinness World Records. Lending his talents for bringing together stakeholders he birthed the Florida Bitcoin and Blockchain Summit, ReBlockSummit, and DeFi World.
Chris also authored a book (“Start Ugly”) that hit #1 in Business Leadership and HR.
Specializing in emerging technologies like Web3, blockchain, and on-demand audio, Chris is at the forefront of these emerging trends.
